Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cassano to Juventus

    Juve ‘agree’ Cassano terms
    Friday 2 December, 2005
Roma starlet Antonio Cassano is set to join Juventus in the summer, according to reports in Italy.

As reported by Football Italia yesterday, Juve director general Luciano Moggi met with Cassano’s agent Beppe Bozzo in Florence on Thursday to discuss a possible move and the two are said to have agreed in principle to a deal.

Under the terms of the agreement, Cassano would move to Turin in June and, although a free agent by then, Roma will be compensated for the loss of their £20m signing to the tune of approximately £3m.

The Giallorossi have yet to agree to the move but, with Inter and Real Madrid having distanced themselves from the player over the last week, agreement with the Bianconeri seems the only reasonable course of action left to the cash-strapped club from the Italian capital.

Provided Roma do agree to the deal, the only remaining stumbling block lies in the form of the European Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS).

They have yet to decide whether or not to lift the transfer embargo on the Giallorossi, imposed after the non-payment of fees following the Philippe Mexes’ move from Auxerre.

Looks like Cassano is heading to Juventus, Great talent and for 3 million thats a bargain! looks like next year they may be spoilt for attacking options with Ibrahimovich,Trezeguet,Mutu,Del Piero and Cassano fighting for their places most likely one of those superstars is going to be sacraficed probably Del Piero.

    Nedved is contracted until 2007.

He's a great talent, and has been for some time now, but hasn't really delivered at Roma, along with rumours of throwing his toys out of the pram on more than one occasion. Could be the Italian Laurent Robert?

His penalty against Red Star last night was embarrassing. He tried the little dink straight down the middle. It was so weak the keeper, who had already committed to his left, was able to get back on his knees and catch it! His team mates were disgusted with him.

especially when it would have been a vital away goal for them. He has a terrible attitude, another Totti

bad attitude but he is a top class player. Capello could be the man to get him back on track and surely for 3million its worth the risk

3 million?? I would have rated him 20 million in a sellers market. Thats the signing of the season, Capello surely can groom him but bad habits die hard

He has the worst attitude I have seen in a player in a long time. There is no doubting his talent but I wouldnt want at my club purely because he lacks the right mental attitude of a professional player and tends to do more harm than good.

I suppose though if anyone can sort him out it will be Capello but someone has to make him learn that he cant act the way he wants or else he will just be another great talent wasted

its either 3 million or he goes for free at the end of the season hence why its not 20.

I defiently think he's worth the investment for 3 million.

A wonderful player, hope he does the business for the bianconeri!! I agree totally about his attitude, but i think he can change, and it'll be for the better. Hopefully, he wont be a cry baby if he isnt earning his spot in the starting 11 every week!

Laurent Robert is just as bad if not worse.
