Does anybody have accurate information on the Cairo Gang, 1920.
The internet has various numbers for killed/shot.
    Who were they?
    What was their toatal number?
How many were "Irish"? Were they all recruited in Egypt?
    Any history/background on the members?

I do not believe a spy group would get its name from a cafe in Grafton Street where they were alleged to meet.

What connection to WChurchill did they have?
Can anybody recommend sources, original old or new?

Thanks Magpie. But this web site is incorrect in a number of items.
Where can I get historical facts. I would like to get the names of the individuals in the alleged picture of the gang.
Various sites list from 10-19 killed! The Freemans Journal is reported to carry the names... Does anybody have access to the paper of that time?

The National Library have copies of all the newspapers from that time, they're free to access. Go in and spend a pleasant afternoon reading up on the topic!
