Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm hoping that someone here may be able to help me. I've been offered a Collard & Collard Baby Grand Piano (1930 OR earlier). Perfect Condition.

Does anyone know the value of such an item? I've had a search and can't find much information. As an investment as furniture and instrument I am very interested in purchasing. Asking price I was told at 900Euro. Any advice / info would be great.. thanks!

I once took a Schiedmyer piano for nothing, thinking it was a good deal. I had it valued. It was valued at 2000 euro, if a new action was fitted. new action was priced at 2000. Lesson learned.

Thanks or the reply - unfortunately the seller withdrew the piano at the last minute (I think his daughter had a word!) I researched the model number etc - worth approx €4,200 - €5,000. However, there was slight fading of the wood on one side, total polish restoration would have cost €2,000 for overall finish. Ah sure.. not to worry!
