Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sorry if this isn't this place for this, but does anyone know anything about this postgrad course? I went into an undergrad course knowing nothing about it and I'm regretting it now so I want to be sure.

I'm also thinking of of the cumarsáid fheidhmeach (applied communications) one in NUIG.

What's the aim when you finish college? IE, what do you want to work at... you don't want to be over qualified!

I'd like to make documentaries. I really like editing so hopefully get to do some of that too.
And I'd like to get into web site building and stuff. Make short promotional videos for websites and the like. I've already made a few short documentaries on charities to help them fundraise.

What do you mean over qualified? Ive heard of it before but never thought much of it. I'm doing a theoretical media course. Now I want to do a practical one.

Most places that you might want to look for work would prefere practical experience over reems of Degrees. However, if you are going into a "Making" type job, it's probably wise to have the Practical course under your belt. Theoretical courses are mostly for people who want to become lectures from what I can tell.
