Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just heard (listening to 606 on 5live) that Beckham swung out at a ref (missed) and was then pushed away by team mates after an incident... he's still on the pitch.
Should be all over the back pages tomorrow.... anyone watching this?
The guy who phoned in seemed to say it looked pretty serious.
    Real Madrid v Getafe...

EDIT - Just heard it's nothing . wont know til we see it ourselves I guess.
EDIT2 - Apparently he's been sent off in this game for a rash tackle

    Speaking of dodgy moment, http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/q/qpr/4496230.stm
Stoke Vs QPR. Will be worth catching the highlights tomorrow morning on ITV.

I'll reserve judgement until I see the incident, sometimes these kind of things get blown out of proportion because of the player's reputation................ *cough, Rooney vs. Villareal, cough*

Just heard another fella on fivelive saying it was crap, he didn't do it at all and was playing well!
not watching it, was looking at peter, crouch! :)

Just saw the assault on the QPR keeper on Sky, bloody disgraceful. Couple of lads arrested for it, wonder what would have happened if keeper had managed to lay one of them out, surely he could not have faced any kind of disciplinary action.

missed both incidents. But from the reports on the BBC website about the QPR incident its shame the players who jumped in got involved amongest themselves. Both teams should all of jumped in and and given the 2 fans the kicking of a life time.

    just saw it on sky.

    disgrace.

i only saw one fan and he was lucky the stewards kept the players away from him or he was a dead man.

saw beckhams also. bad decision by the ref in my book. akward tackle that didnt seem to be that forceful.

just saw it on sky aswell actually. Agreed complete disgrace. Infairness to the keeper, he didnt seem to want to fight back to much. Now a days if he did he would probaly end up getting sued for assualt.

The stewards seemed more interested in fighting off the players then grabing the "fan".

im amazed that didnt escalate further.

yea, didnt see it where the second fan ran on either. What was he playing at? A severe punishment for the club should be handed out.

The goalie was miles bigger than that little rat jumping on his back, he should of kicked 10 bells out of that scumbag.

Did anyone catch the "eye poking" in the FA cup match?
Was on MOTD last night.... Northampton at Stevenage.
The 2 goalkeeper coaches had a verbal match, then Stevenages coach was caught on tape clearly poking at the eyes of the other coach.
Unbelievable stuff. FA inquiry at the very least, with the police likely to get involved.
    Sickening stuff.

Yep saw that, sickening stuff indeed. The perpetrator should get a good long ban for himself.

disgraceful bahaviour. Surely this could even merit criminal charges?
