Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

WPA wireless and Dell x50V

    Hi

I currently have a dell 2350 router access point running on my broadband connection using WPA TKIP. When i try to connect a dell axim x50v running pocket pc 2003 to it using the odyessy gateway software, it can't detect the wireless. However this only occurs when the router has been started after having the power cord removed. If i soft reset the router afterwards, the dell can connect perfectly. My other computers do not have this problem and will work with the router regardless whether it has been reset.
So im wondering what event occurs to when i reset the router that allows the dell to connect and is there anyway i can work around it.

    Thanks

    Dubambman

btw, before anyone points out the obvious solution, its not practical for me to leave the router running constantly, it must be turned off every night.

I have a router that is turned on all the time and the wireless connection between the x50v and it is flakey as hell, everything else is ok ... its just the x50v and that Odyssely client ... I did read on a forum somewhere that the latest version of the Odyssey client is far better but afaik you have to pay for it
