New paper timetables have been issued, for indefinite use.
These and the book have been available since January Victor!!!
I didn't think that you were that far behind the times!
The latest date doing the rounds is the end of September for the next timetable change which I understand will be incorporating revisions on the Westport and Rosslare routes, DART (Clockface) and the WRC at the very least!0 -

No, these are **new** new timetables. The December 2008 print said something like "valid to May 2009". These ones are valid indefinitely.
Oddly there doesn't seem to be one for the Rosslare line.
No - they said valid until further notice...
I have copies here and the book that all say the same thing!
I think that you're getting mixed up with the validity that may have been shown on the online journey planner.
From the off the current timetables have all said "Valid until further notice".0 -

I see, so that might be why the 2045 service from Connolly to Belfast left Connolly well after 2100 and reached Drogheda at 2210, some 55 mins behind schedule.
True to the IrishRail way doing things, the info board at Connolly said the service was "canceled" and dozens and dozens of weary commuters went up to the lads standing under the display to be told just delayed. After a while they fixed the board and made ONE announcement to say the train is running late and expected in 10 mins etc.
Once on board the Enterprise, who are usually good at keeping everyone posted, was unusually quiet tonight. Not a single PA to say why the train is crawling along and approximately when its like to reach Drogheda. I mean they could have at least acknowledged the fact that they are stuck behind a slow train (which pulled into Drogheda just second before the Enterprise).
/reminds himself that he is Ireland and to cut down on the expectations, especially when it comes to certain rail company.0 -
