Looking for something sporty...

I'm amazed I'm posting this in some ways since I love my Rover 75 but much as I enjoy wafting up and down the motorway in it's coddled luxury I've found myself wishing it was a bit more 'sporty'. Having just turned 30 and with no babies on the scene for a couple more years I figure now's as good a time as any to endulge…

The point you make above though is exactly what I'm thinking and now is as good a time to do it as any. I've a thread running in Classics where I'm giving serious thought to an old 912 too but that would be a helluva departure from creature comforts

My brother had a 2003 9-3 2.0 T Aero estate from new and it was nothing but problems. The engine leaked oil heavily, all the shocks needed replacing after a year and a half, the steering was never right and the turbo needed replacing after 2 years. (I guess it's just a Vauxhall underneath).
