Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do you have a firewall up? I had to disable my firewall to get it to work, even allowing mediashare through.

No I think it just means you'll have to give the xbox an IP on the network, if you were going through a router, (like I am) DCHP would sort this out for you. I think when you go to test connection on the xbox when it fails you will be able to change settings. What you need to do is assign an IP address for the PC and Xbox (192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.3 for example. And then test the connection.

    right i'll try that

By any chance do i need the pc and the xbox connected to the internet at the same time?when the xbox is connected directly to the internet it confirms the ip address.but when its not, it fails.
do i need a router? + i cant connect to xbox live because there is something wrong with the broadband as usuall (irish bb).

Does the 360 have auto-MDIX support? If not, you need to connect your PC and 360 together with a cross over ethernet cable. Either that or connect both to your router.
