Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    NEW YEAR'S EVE 2005 - STEREOTONIC 'v' DISCOTONIC
    2 FLOORS OF MUSIC, FROM HIP HOP TO HOUSE, WITH SPECIAL GUESTS, THE INLAND KNIGHTS (uk)

    This year, we have two big gigs on in Dublin City on New Years Eve. One is taking place in the POD, further details on that to come, but the one we are talking about here is taking place in new venue ROGUE on Dame Street, right in the middle of Dublin.

    Rogue is home to our newest Saturday night outing DISCOTONIC, which takes place there every Saturday. Its a sweet wee venue, with a bar at ground level and basement club room thats small enough thats it gets a good vibe going real easy. For NEW YEARS EVE, we are moving Stereotonic (our Friday night gig at Wax) to Rogue to do a Stereotonic 'v' Discotonic night.

    Upstairs will have the Discotonic DJs, playing a stomp your feet selection of funk, disco, hip hop, soul and odd ball selections from the depths of their crates.

    Meanwhile, that rumbling downstairs will be the Stereotonic DJs, laying down some underground deep to jacking house music, joined by a pair of our musical heroes and some of the best house producers in the world; The Inland Knights.

    So thats 12 DJs and two floors of music and taking in the best elements of 2 of our best nights. Have iiiiit!!

    INLAND KNGHTS (DROP MUSIC, UK) - Who are they?
    Veterans of the free party scene in the early to mid 90's, Andy and Laurence from the Inland Knights were part of a small crew known as Smokescreen that put on massive raves under the nose of the police in Northern England. After a number of years of this they were eventually forced to call it quits after a big clampdown on these parties by the authorities but Smokescreen by this stage had built quite a reputation and the lads were well known DJs so they took the show on the road. Smokescreen went on a tour of Europe and the Inland Knights started on their production Over the years they have recorded as the To Ka Project but as Inland Knights they have received massiive success, travelling the world and playing in places from dive bars in Australia to places like Amnesia in Ibiza and Fabric in London. They have had countless releases on labels like 20:20 Vision imprint, Panhandle Records, Vista, Siesta, Sunflower, NRK, Low Pressings, double down and their tracks have apppeared on many cmpilations.
    Their production are smooth groove laden deep to jackin house with a meloic touch.
    They were one of the first guests for Bodytonic and have stayed consistantly at the top of our favourites pile. We are happy to have them back!

    If i was in Dublin for NYE id certainly go to this,the Inland Knights look very good indeed and €15 is definitely value for money seen as other clubs will rip you off charging mega bucks;)

    Admission is €15 and we are selling tickets through Carbon Records in Urban Outfitters, in Temple Bar Dublin. There will also be tickets available on the door on the night itself.
