XBOx 360 Hard Drive

    Whats the difference between the 1 in the 360 and say a standard SATA/IDE HDD. Would it be possible to FTP the files off the official one onto a PC and then copy them onto a regular hard drive?

    They have a different connector and they are a different size. :(

    I just want a modded 360 with external usb drive :)

    Why do you want a modded 306?

    I am not sure, but I would guess that you can connect a USB drive to it as is. Surley if it can access media off your iPod and PSP it can accessed another HDD.

    its uses a 2 1/5" sata hdd same kinda ones in a laptop

    It can use a USB drive just fine, for media files. Unfortunately the hard drive is required for xbox live / emulation / game saves.
