Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know what shops in dublin are selling this cable and know roughly what price it is?

GAME should have it, for 29.99.

I picked it up for €29 (I think) in Smyths on Saturday. It was pretty scarce on launch day but seems freely available now.

    Is this the component cable?

The one I'm trying to get hold of is the Scart connection (with optical). You can see it here

Can't seem to get it in Liffey Valley Game or Virgin. Also tried HMV, Virgin and Game in Blancherstown. Might try Smyths Liffey Valley tonight.

I played the XB360 last night for the first time and was a bit dissapointed. But then again, I was using composite cables connected to an SD 36" WS TV. It's probably the worse way I could connect it up. I'll try with the RGB scart when I get one. Also, gonna try it on my brother's HD projector over Christmas.

Deinitely had them in Smyths in town on Saturday, also in GAME on Henry Street. They're on the right as you go through the door, kind of hidden away, to be honest!

I got one in GAMESTOP in Clarehall at the weekend... it's the advanced Scart Cable... the RGB one... makes a massive difference... but make sure it goes into the RGB scart on your tv though or won't make any difference...
