This year's Higher Education Pool Intervarsities will be held in the Co. Arms Hotel, Birr, from 3-5 Feb. 2006.

All HE institutions are eligible to enter up to three teams of five students. FE institutions or individuals are ineligible.

The event also comprises an individual championship, for which there are substantial cash prizes. World rules are used.
