Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In Game - wtf?!?

Shopping around I rarely buy a PC game for more than 40-45. And they're charging more or less double for a console equivalent.

Anyone who pays that amount for a game is getting royally shafted.

You get them for 65 if you shop around. Xtravision are good. Game and Virgin are robbers!

Jaysus, I wouldnt pay much more than that for a console, never mind a game!

IMO if someone is willing to pay GAME €80 for a game then they deserve to be shafted by them

I think the recommended retail price for a game was something like 70, so GAME takes the advantage and sells it for 80. That's really poor. :(

I would pay 40, maybe 50 bucks for a game, but not 80

I would imagine that PS3 games will be as expensive if not more so.

I was under the impression that they were going to be retailing for €45? I'm almost positive that that was the price I saw them being sold for in GameStop?

Some of them are 45 alright, sterling though.

or www.cdwow.com - make sure you pay in sterling as you get a better deal, same on play.com - works out at €59 a game roughly :)

The prices vary dramatically from shop to shop. I used to buy all my games in shops but now I'm refusing to pay €80 for 1 game.

Ladies and Gents dust off those credit cards and use them online, show these raping f*ckers that they can't screw us anymore.
