Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

im not really sure if this is the best place to put this...

im using the Dell w2600 and the 360 (set to 720p) on hdtv mode on the av cable connected to the component.
games all look very nice :D some bit of ghosting but this was expected on a 25ms tv.
but when i watch movies i get really bad scan lines...?
now if i change back to tv mode on the av cable its grand back to normal dvd quality that you would expect.
but ive been told (dont really know if this is true) that the 360 has progressive scan and should be able to improve the quailty of normal non-hd dvd's and play them grand on 720p? is this true?
and if it is what am i doing wrong?

Here's what I've heard so far....

It's an HD-TV. HD stands for High-Definition. So the TV does some sort of resizing on non-HD-DVDs, which causes some sort of 'pixeled' image. There's nothing that can be done about that, but I may be wrong.

Yeah, it's not magic, DVD's will look crap(per) running in 720 mode.
