Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Belkin Wireless router problem

    Hi, I have a small problem with a Belkin wireless adsl router connected to 2 laptops. When I leave one downloading say off fileshack (big demo or vid) when I come back to it in the morning the connection is frozen all lights on the router but no connection to the net. I cant even connect to the router with 192.168.2.1. I had a lan cable going into it with my desktop and every now and again I would have to reset the router. Is there something I am missing I don't think the router has a power saving mode. The laptop has everything on when downloading with nothing shutting down to save power as plugged in.... Any ideas?

    Does it freeze up if you're connecting via Ethernet only?

    Are you using DHCP or static IP addressing..?

    What's the model of the Belkin router?

    I think I have it sorted, changed power profile and stopped it going into standby... thanks Karoma
