Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Suggest either 1 or 2 of your favourite soundtracks (original or licenced) from this year. anything released prior to the 1st of January 2005 will NOT be included in the running.
And please make your suggestions easy to spot (bold/colour/italic tags... whatever takes your fancy)

Killer 7 is all that stands out for me this year :/

    /edit
Wipeout Pure has a nice tracklist...

Shadow of the Colossus by a country mile. Steal, buy or download the stunning soundtrack and then post back here agreeing with me.

F.E.A.R. was very good as well and had a great use of sound.

Shadow of the Colossus PAL release isn't till next year though, no?

    MGS3 was good.

No rule about PAL releases only. It was released about a month ago in America.

    Kameo : Elements of Power
This has an amazingly cinematic orchestral score.

MGS3 wouldn't get my vote simply because of the god awful Snake Eater bond style theme tune.

My vote goes for gran turismo 4 : http://www.autoblog.com/entry/1234000007031712/ Satriani to James Brown, something for everyone.

hehe yeah, bloody hell that was cringe worthy, if not just for the pornographic images 'snake eater' conjures, hearing someone singing 'snaaaaaake eaterrrrrrrr' may as well be singing 'coooooock suckerrrrrrr' in my diseased mind.
My vote goes with ridge racer psp, had an excellent soundtrack

    Kameo: Elements of Power
    Wipeout Pure
For both of these, the soundtrack is very well suited to the game.
