Kopek win global battle of the bands!!

    Kopek! From Ireland! National final-winning bands from twenty-four countries around the world took part in The Global Battle of the Bands world Final at the London Astoria on December 7. With their grunge rock vibe and a hatful of catchy songs and guitar hooks, three-piece powerhouse rockers from Dublin were the clear winners according to the panel of judges. It means that Kopek have won themselves a world tour and $100,000.

    This is a local band from my town, Ive seen them live manys a time and Id say they well deserved to win this. They have mp3 downloads on their site kopekmusic.com. Check em out.

    Thats really cool fair play to them, Kopek are one rocking band. Played with them during the summer this year and was very impressed. Not only is there music great but there actully sound guys. Who said nice guys finish last;)

    Excellent, we (FRACTURE) played inTBMC on the 11th Oct heats. Great to see an Irish band doing well for themselves :-)
