    Hello,

Just wondering if there are any sites that list the most popular sites in Ireland, would be intrested in seeing a top 100.

I know sites such as Ryanair, Daft and maybe even this one would feature highly but I'm looking to find other ones too.

Any ideas of where to look would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    www.aib.ie/internetbanking / www.boi.ie/banking365 - people check money!

    www.google.ie - personal favourite!

www.dcu.ie / www.tcd.ie / www.ucd.ie / all the other uni's (most students will hit the university homepage as soon as they open net browser)

www.eircom.net - default homepage for people using eircom net connection

    www.ireland.com / www.unison.ie - people looking for news/have subscriptions

www.leinsterrugby.ie (or other sports ones, just working on my own history!)

    www.msn.ie

    i'm sure there's loads more...

I was under the impression that ireland.com was number one, with boards.ie in second...

Can't remember where I heard that though :/

Some of the text refers to 2000 as being in the future. Is Medialive still active?

    Regards...jmcc

Medialive it still active, I know one person advertising on it. It could definitely use a make-over though.

Here's some data from ABC (not all from the same month):
    page impressions/month:
    irish times 13m
    rte 16m
    irishjobs.ie 8m
    monster.ie 3m
    eircom.net 18m

    boards.ie
There used to be webalizer stats and I think they were around 6-7m

According to those two articles, Eircom recieves only 4600
    visitors per day;

"Eircom drew 845,000 visitors to its site over a six-month
period compared to 806,000 visitors for Yahoo."

My own website gets 4 times that much, granted it isnt an
    Irish website.

A lot of site decide that hits == visitors.

Make sure you're not making that mistake.

in our case in work it is an ip address in a 15min window so if you come back 30 mins later then you are 2 visitors ie you made 2 unique visits to the site.

I believe Highonsnow.com received 21m impressions last month.. ultimately making it THE best website in Ireland ;)

What other gallery driven website do you know that provides service with a smile?

(PS: Alright Zaph0d man.. how'd things mate? :D)
