great total put up by pakistain this morning.

extremly tough chase under the lights and without the firepower of pieterson i dont think england have a hope.

After yesterdays Hammering in Karachi and with the next too games in Rawalpindi (birth place of Shaoib Aktar) who apart from the last ODI has simply been brilliant,I dont think england have any chance now in the series
I know injuries to Vaughan, Giles (wasnt having the best of tours though) and Pietersen have left weaker down the order, some of the decisions making has been appauling during this ODI Series. Bring Ian Bell back into the side at 3 or 4 instead of Solanki

how craap are england....how can they go from heros in the summer, to what they are now?..

couldnt even chase down a measly 210.

cant wait for them to start the tour of India.

    Easy - it's what's known as luck.

All good luck during the summer went to England. The Aussies couldn't buy it.

Still it was good to see the poms stick it to them arrogant Aussie :D

Pakistan are also a fairly useful outfit. Apparently 5 of their test squad have played as club professionals up North at some stage or other

The loss of people like Michael Vaughan , Kevin Pietersen , Ashley Giles , Simon Jones from the Ashes team has severley weakened Englands team. What England need to find before the India Tour is a quality leg spinner. In this series they were shown how to leg spin by some fantastic pakistani bowlers. Spin will be the key against India . Udal and Blackwell arent good enough, the captain needs to look elsewhere

Yeah England won the Ashes because they were lucky

They are having a well overdue blip, it happens. England were on a long winning streak that had to end

England struggling again 173-7 with only 2 overs left

I think they should stop playing ODI's on the grounds of being s*** at it :D

Pakistan 125/3 after 33 overs - 82 runs to win with 7 wickets remaining at a run rate of 4.82

Nice recovery there by the Pakistanis. Yousuf seems to be amongst the runs again today. Hopefully England can knock a few more over and get at the tail ASAP.

159/4 after 41 overs. Looking good for Pakistan. Engerland need some wickets.

Edit: Next ball Yousuf hooks the ball straight up in the air off Blackwell and Anderson holds the catch. Getting interesting now. 159/5.

Blackwell extremely unlucky to not have Shoaib Malik caught behind. Actually came off the face of the bat, not the edge. Good old Rudi Koertzen.

Edit: Couple of overs later Malik panics and tries to hit Blackwell down the ground and is caught in the deep by Solanki so it didn't matter all that much.

Afridi clean bowled by a brilliant yorker from Anderson. Really great delivery. England might actually win a game here. 170/7 with just over 5 overs to go.

35 needed off 27 balls as I type.

    Mike.

    177 for 8! 30 needed.

    Mike.

Razzaq goes trying to hook Anderson, gets a top edge straight up in the air and is caught by Trescothick. 177/8.

    Mike.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Ha at last! England win unless pakistan get 7 off the last ball.

    Mike.
