Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just watched the 12 minute prequel to Day 5, I thought that it was pretty good.
Chloe is back in it, she warns Jack that someone knows that he is still alive and then when Chloe leaves, Jack goes back to his car and is chased by a nice BMW. Looks interesting
It all starts again at the start of January with a 4 hour premier over 2 nights. Looking forward to it.

Is this on the Season 4 DVDs?

I think that it was on the american dvd. I am sure that a quick search on google or some other "type" of search site will find it for you.

Jack with long grungy hair? kinda funny, kinda cool. so now it will be even easier to spot the bad guys. All the good guys drive toyotas. All the bad guys drive BMW!

    Wasn't too great.
Ok,we get it...he is supposed to be head and has to stay low, does that mean he can't get a hair cut? I guess it will be interesting to see who wants to find out if he is alive, and also interesting they let Kim believe he was dead.

I cant wait. Is there a certain date? And is it January for Network 2 (they always get it like 4/5 weeks before Sky1)
Is Elisha Cuthbert confirmed for new season?
    I've also heard
Curtis and Jacks love interest from Day 4, (secretary of defence daughter, cant remeber name) plus the director at CTU all back

I wasn't impressed. I was hoping they'd tease a bit of what'll happen in the series... If they did then I'm even less impressed - I'm not sure anyone wants to see a whole series of...that... But knowing 24 the series will be wildly convoluted and change the main plot about 50 times - all the better. Move onto a real plot in the first 4 hours please. :)

Yep, I second that. The whole 'Hah! And the plot was *really* about THIS!" thing is annoying now and only really worked in the second series (when it became less about the nuclear bomb and more about the Cyprus audio - though you could argue the former was more dramatic). In the third and fourth series, this plot-restarting became insane. If anything, only the first series managed to do a single plot (more or less) in 24 hours.

I'm not expecting anything special from Day 5 after last year, to be honest.

I watched this last night too. Product placement from Toyota will be a premium I guess :D

The teaser didn't really tell you much, certainly doesn't say where this plot is going.
Though considering it did start the clock a couple of minutes before 8AM, I'd guess that the season will start at this point, with Jack running from the guy on the bike. Who's after him this time though? Will I care?

Also, get a haircut ya hippie! I had to laugh at Jack though. He's dressed like Silvester Stallone in Rambo: 1st Blood pt 1, but driving a shiny new Toyota Prius :p

I cant wait for this to start on SKY. Couldn't watch the clip because the computers are on the blink here, but at least another series is on the way.

    P.S. support the forum!

yeah, i heard the prequel was funded by toyota...shock horror!:o and we got a nice littl ebit of Jack and Chloe interaction...

maybe it's like law that where Chloes hair looks wonderful, Jack's must look...like a mullet...

this pic doesn't really do it justice, but...

also has anyone been checking out the teasers for s.5?

now they really are whetting the apetite for January...

Interesting that the teaser is set in Chicago. Does this mean season 5 is to take place there too? Would be no bad thing IMO. LA has been the location for the every season so far (apart from a brief sojurn in Mexico in Day 3) and it's a bit boring at this stage.
