Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stream winamps output

I'm currently searching for something that will stream my winamp output from my windows PC to my (soon to be) linux PC.

The reason being that I ahve a program called moodlogic which makes playlists from my MP3 of similar music, and I have a very nice crossfading output on winamp.
I guess there's probably nice crossfaders for linux but moodlogic is very very good.

So i guess i need something to emulate a sound card and output as a server!
and I don't want the streaming software to be the software that plays the music.

Then i intent to just use a remote desktop program to press play.

    Any suggestions?

No idea about the streaming sice but for the remote desktop look at vnc and rdesktop. VNC can act as client / server on either side, you can set it up so that any java browser can be used as a client. rdesktop on linux will act as a client for terminal services on a pc - not 100% sure it works on XP PRO remote desktop too.
