Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This new camcorder has a 20 gig hard disk and video is encoded as mpeg 2 on the fly. Just how hard is it to edit and render mpeg 2 as opposed to DV? I assume quality will be lost if you render it and re-encode to mpeg 2?

I have the MC500 version of it. It's easy to edit just copy and paste to your hard drive. I used Nero 6 to edit and burn to DVD. I don't think there will be a lost of quality it Mpeg to Mpeg.
