have you tried any good hardare stores for the professional stuff? expect to pay anything between 11euro and 15, i got really good silver spray a good few years back in DIY, but im sure woodies/ atlantic would do the stuff too.

Yeah thats the thing Ive been searching around and basically the best stuff is car sprays but the thing is theres very little colour range.. Especailly for the green that Im looking for.

There used to be a specialist plastics painter in wicklow called PED. http://www.ped.ie but there site isn't available this evening so l dont know if it's offline or they dont exist anymore. I saw samples of wheels and fuel tanks that they had done, it was impressive stuff. Chrome finishes and wide range of in your face colours.

Trimite in Naas do some specialist paint finishes.

You could try http://alsacorp.com/ and see if they have a UK or Irish agent.

    Good luck

Car shops are alright, but go to Games Workshop (or any place that sells citadel paints), they have a pretty good range of colours there. (I think "snot green" would be the green you're looking for...haven't used them in an age though)

My biggest complaint about car sprays is they waste EXTREMELY fast.

As for the clear coat, maybe just a varnish would work best...or if going cheapo - PVA glue works a treat, even give it an even mix with water and use an old bleachy spray-y yoke.

Hope that helps you somewhat! :)
