OK, never looked at this befroe but now my girl's almost 9, she wants to see it.

That (2nd) black girl has a fantrastic voice. Hell, I even voted!

"The Ups" were rubbish - how did they top the poll? What kind of people vote on this thing?

Jesus they were awful though. Diabolical.
That other black girl, Jewel, had a good voice too but she sounded better at the audition than the bit at the end where they perform to get voted. I think that was the choice of song though.

But how the hell did The Ups get in, never mind top the poll! It's like last week when that godawful girlband got through.

it's never really about the most talented on these shows. There are two ways of getting votes.
1. appeal to the people who normally spend money to send in texts.
i.e 8 - 14 yr old girls.
2 start a big campaign with posters and get all you relatives, friends and people in your town to vote for you.

I suppose the Ups used method Nr 2 to get through. they were definitely not the best.
the black girl did have a great voice but she was a bit too overtly religious. her original song was all about Jesus and she kept blessing everyone.

Ah thats not fair, there is good that comes out of these shows. Usually its the fact that the audience quickly tires of the winner and they fade back into the woodwork again.

i think your a star is the worst talent show ever does the money go to a charety?? the only reason peple watch your a star is eather they only have the irish chanels or they no sombody in it or they are just bored:D

I'm not goin to comment on the spelling, only coz you're a fellow Meath-er

The only reason I saw it is coz my daughter likes it. So if 8 going on 9 is the audience, so be it. Right now the Simpsons is on though...
