Help the fight for Canadian firearms rights

    The current Canadian government has made a promise to ban handguns and Restricted Firearms if they are re-elected.

    They claim this will help end gang violence despite almost all gang shooting occurring with guns smuggled in to the country from across the boarder. 90% of handgun gang murders are committed with non-registered handguns (the exact percentage is unknown)

    In conversation with the Vice President of Communications for the Canadian National Firearms Accusation today he loved the idea of canadian newspaper editors receiving letters from overseas particularly a nation that suffered violence for years despite a similar handgun ban.

    So if you have the time you could log on to demented Democracy machine and with one email reach 79 canadian newspapers (cool!)

    What the NFA has been pushing is
    1: How much a waste of money this ban will be
    2: Criminals dont register their guns and they dont hand them in
    3: Licensed target shooters dont commit gang crime
    4: Banning handguns and restricted guns wont stop gun smugglers
    Etc

    My letters have mentioned that severe firearm restriction in the Republic never stopped the organized groups arming themselves much like a canadian ban wont stop drug dealers arming themselves with smuggled guns
