A while back I went and tagged off what was in my audioscrobbler profile that I had seen live. Hardly in anyway definitive as it would only have bands that I actually have listened to recently in it also theres no way Id remember dates or years of when Id seen them. Also I need to update it with what ive seen since septemeber. In otherwords its very hard to keep track of this unless you had the sense to keep a ticket board (oh I wish I had a ticket board).

Found this thread and wanted to re activate it as I remembered posting in it at the time and, funny enough, didn't attend a lot of the gigs I had planned too. But I did attend a lot more actually and, excluding pub bands, would say I have seen somewhere in the region of 86 bands since 2003

Not long to go now until my 100th unique live act lol

how is this even possible? over 20 years of concert going you are bound to forget loads of them. i mean its all a bit hazy now.

what im trying to say is, if you can catalogue it, then YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,585 ✭✭✭honru

Yeah, this would take aaages. I've retained my ticket stubs for headline gigs where I got them but I've seen a ton of bands at festivals. Also support acts that I may have watched aren't listed on most of my stubs.

Been going to gigs since '85 and have literally been to hundreds of Gigs/Festivals, seen too many bands to mention, could never remember them all.

Must have seen every top name in Rock/Metal at least 2/3 times each, I've just worked it out that i've seen Marilyn Manson about 8 times now at various festivals/support slots and i hate the prick
