    Not sure if this is the right forum, but could anyone advise where is the best place to get car insurance for a sports convertible.

    As most people know I guess, insurance on convertibles is tricky.
    I am the right age live in the right place and have aeons of no claim bonus.
    They still wanted 1000 from me for an mx 5.
    On the other hand I have an older convertible (1980) it doesn't qaulify for classic tax, however the classic insurers use 20 years on certain cars.
    It works out cheap as chips on limited milage policy.
    So thats fine for summer convertibles.
    Daily drivers i guess are gonna cost !!! Shame really .
