Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

Ok before you ask, the reason I want to use IE5.0 (albeit temporarily) is to test some java. I do not want to reinstall windows!!

OS is Windows 2000 Professional which comes with IE5.0 by default.

It had IE6.0 on it. I uninstalled IE6.0 as follows:
    cd Program Files
    cd Internet Explorer
    cd IE Uninstall
    w2excp.exe /u
    rebooted machine.

IE was restored to IE5.0. I then upgrade to IE5.5 and did my testing. Then told I needed to test IE5.0 as well (could have been told that from the start but there ye go).

In Control Panel -> Add/Remove Program I only get Repair option when I go to removed IE5.5.

So.....does anybody know of a way to uninstall IE5.5 and go back to default IE5.0?
I looked for an uninstall exe but could not find any. Is there a registry setting which would enable some of the greyed out option in Add/Remove Program for IE5.5?

Again, would prefer not to reinstall windows.......last resort really!!
