You could always go for an ipod mini. They hold 6gb, and are around €250

Ipod minis have been discontinued, you more than likely will only be able to get them off ebay etc.

I have a Rio Carbon 6gb, was €170 in Dixons last week.

There's also the Sony NWA1000 6GB Walkman. It has a retail price of €239 and should be available in most good retail outlets. We'll have it, where I work, next week some time.

I'd recommend an Archos Gmini 402. or if your feeling flush the camcorder edition... 402CC. More bang for your buck.
