GX-Straight (20%castor oil, zero nitro) high compression MVVS engines in summer

    GX-5 (20% castor oil + 5% nitro) for running-in everything

GoGlo Plus-5 (18% synthetic oil + 5% nitro) for high compression MVVSengines in winter, and OS/Irvine/SC engines summer

GX-10 (20% castor oil, 10% nitro) for hotter sport use in cars

GoGlo Plus-16 (18% synthetic oil, 16% nitro) where I'm tuning an engine for someone who will be using 16% . (Not in my engines actually.

@coolwings.So to run in my t-maxx(this time)you would recommend the GX5 (20% castor oil + 5% nitro) for running in,and the GoGlo Plus-16 (18% synthetic oil, 16% nitro) to run it on thereafter, yes?

I cannot find the GoGlo plus-16 on modeltechnics web site?
Would QwikFire 16(13%synthetic,5%castor)suit as an alternative?

Also, where can i buy these fuels from? ie,where do you guys buy your fuel?
    Cheers.

Well - yes, I myself would run in on Castor based GX-5.
After running in, I would probably increrase the torque and compression and use higher nitro synthetic based fuels, and GGPlus-16, but Castor based GX-16 would also do fine.

The reason you don't GoGlo plus on the MT website, is that it is a modified GoGlo mix, made up to the specification of Green Hobby who tried and tested this blend.
There are a handful of specialist model shops, who design their own blend based on the way the local guys tune their engines, for good results. I think 3 places in UK and 1 in Ireland. So the GoGlo Plus is a Green Hobby blend which Model Technics produce on special order.

So the MT website shows their own blends, so you see GoGlo standard.
Their nearest blend is possibly Formula Irvine, at 18% all Klotz synthetic, it's good, but that uses an american oil which is dearer, GoGlo Plus uses EDL (extra duralube) which we prefer for for its covering or spreading power.

Quickfire would also be very similar, maybe a tad more viscous in very cold weather, and it would be very forgiving of when an engine is leaned out too far. I have no doubt that if I tried it, I would like the results, as it also uses twin oils in its makeup. That is a definite improvement to a fuel IMHO.
