Well if marts is that interested in taking over the reigns of the said forum, why dont the admin just make him the mod over there.

Iirc, the board was closed as it was a hosted board, with dickhead who's name i cant remember (i had a vendetta against him iirc, as did syke), and the hosted mod proved to be completely untrustworthy and so the board was gone. also it had some pretty random dodgy discussions and iirc tried to promote underage drinking on boards, which is a no no.

well look at my history, I have not caused any trouble, I got banned from AH once because I copied one guy who made a big song and dance about his 100th post, and I am, of course, an avid SW fan

The IJC was a bunch of mates who set it up as a hosted forum - if you actually want to make it something proper, maybe apply on the forums forum as to what you want to make it be, and see if all the old ****e could be wiped/locked or somesuch.
