I bought the Belkin ADSL Modem with Wireless G Router today and tried to connect it to my utv Clicksilver account to no avail.
Is there any trick to get the router working with utv Clicksliver?

    Thanks
    Michael

There should be no 'trick' to getting any wireless router working with Clicksilver - just enter the settings as per your ordinary modem and it should work fine.

Is it showing a dsl signal?

It is showing a signal, but when I enter my details into the router it doesn't connect. The connection with the normal Zyxel modem works fine.

Same thing happened to me. I finally found that I had typed my username ending in .com instead of .ie. Easy mistake as all utv web addresses and email addresses end in .com

Are you sure you have the following settings in? (Taken from the UTV support page)
These are the settings for RoI Customers only...
We will provide you with your ClickSilver username (eg. cs12345@adsl.utvinternet.ie) and password in your welcome letter/e-mail.

Use the below settings as required:

    Driver: PPPoE
    VPI: 8
    VCI: 35
    Set up type: LLC

In the UK, the standard is PPPoA, in RoI the standard is PPPoE (PPP over Ethernet).
