Weird HTML issue

This is just weird. This only applies to IE, so there's no point in looking at this if you use another browser*.

So, here's a HTML page that comes up at the end of an order process on a website:

http://beecher.org/inc/tmp/without-banner.htm

Here's a banner that's automatically pushed into that page by a transaction provider.

http://beecher.org/inc/tmp/banner.htm

And here's the page with the banner in place.

http://beecher.org/inc/tmp/with-banner.htm

Now, can anyone tell me why the F*CK the page disappears when the banner is in place?

* "Answers" along the lines of "just use firefox" will result in me asking for your address; so I can jump in my car, drive to you, and kick your head in. This is a usability problem, you can ask your customers to switch to Firefox to buy from you, I won't be doing that.

Try removing " bgcolor=#FFFFFF " from the banner table (http://beecher.org/inc/tmp/banner.htm).

Do you have any CSS for "bannercontainer"?
