Exceeding BT Transfer Limit

Does anybody know if BT have started to charge it's customers for exceeding their monthly transfer limit? I'm on the crappy 1MB connection. If so I'm truely F***ed.

Maybe. They reserve the right to charge you at any time. Just because they haven't yet, doesn't mean they won't.
