Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Powerscourt has a couple of antique jewellery shops, you might find what your looking for there.

Powerscourt is one option, but many of their prices are way off the scale. I was looking around a few weeks ago and some of the prices on items I would have some interest and (limited maybe:D )knowledge in, were 2 and even 3 times higher than they should have been. Maybe not all of the traders or items there are the same but the ones I saw.... There were a few items mislabeled too.

If it's not too urgent(Chrissy prez), I'd wait and have a wander around some of the antique fairs in the new year. The internet can have some bargains too. There are a few reputable dealers online. I've had some good experiences that way myself. A bit of research wouldn't go amiss online either. I'd stay away from ebay for the minute though, until I got my bearings.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
