    I'm looking into starting J2EE... i'm using Lomboz v1.0 and JBoss 3.2.x.

I basically want to build a simple application that can read and write to a mysql database.

Anybody want to work with me in getting this built? Or better still, has anyone used a tutorial that they found to be useful?

Understanding middleware development with J2EE or other can incur a fairly steep learning curve. This is something that does take time to master. I definately recommend using JBoss, and as for Lomboz for your presentation layer, I haven't used it, but am well aware of it. Haven't actually seen anyone use it, and hence would be interested to see where you're going with it...

Anyhoo...did a quick google and found this...

    All the best,
