Thursday 22nd is the date for the Backlash Christmas party and for anyone who witnessed our
birthday party then you'll know if nothing else we put on a good spread.
We've had a better year then we ever thought possible with numerous roof lifting residents nights
a few guests or two and a festival appearance under our belts.
2006 will see Backlash spread like a fungus throughout the hemisphere with gigs in London,
Oslo and Galway already in the offing.

This is what we've got on the bill for the Xmas party.
7 Chewys a Swimming, 6 Fúboys a Laying, 5 Golden Romos. 4 Calling Reynolds, 3 French Averills
2 Turtle Philths and a Partridge in a Pear Tree
For those that can't make it past that misguided attempt at seasonal information, it simply means we'll
be having all of our residents going back to back, head to head and yes toe to toe, playing the finest
(electro)house, punkfunk, disco, italo, rock'n'roll and whatever other category you care to name.

Down the back of the club we'll have Chewy's xmas Grotto, where you can drop in to receive a free
gift ranging in quality from used deodorant to expensive Backlash T-shirts, cds, & concert tickets.
And sure if Ronnie Drews out on the whiskey who knows he might drop in for a chat and to start a fight.

Please note we will not be opening up upstairs as its been rented for some posh yoke,
therefore we will have limited capacity so get down early to avoid been left out in the cold

Doors are 11pm, Admission is only 5eu, the hangover the day after, priceless.

Carbon records have once again come up with the goods!
They've given us a fantastic prize for our Xmas giveaway...

How do you win this prize? for something so good we're going
to make it relatively simple, almost like a treasure hunt!

We'll stick up an a4 sheet in the window behind the
djs this Thursday at Wax, this sheet will have a codeword on it

marked: BACKLASH XMAS BOOTY & we'll put all the names in the hat.

We'll inform the winner by e-mail & then announce it here just
after Christmas.

Carbon Records is in Urban Outfitters, Temple Bar and is
open till 9 every night up till xmas
