Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Connecting computers between wireless and wired network

I have a Netgear DG834 ADSL router, connected a Apple Airport Express wireless router. I currently have a PC connected (wired) to the Netgear router and I want to share it out to my laptop connected wirelessly via the Apple Airport Express. Unfortunately I cannot see the PC when I search for it. I can ping the PC from my laptop but I cannot connect to any shared folders. The only way to connect to it is to plug my laptop into the Netgear router.

    I'm using Windows XP.

    Can anyone help? Thanks.

You might need to enable Network Neighbourhood traffic on your software firewall, should you have one installed.

Thanks but just sorted it out. Once I used the command at the command prompt: net view \\<servername> , I could see the PC and from there I was able to map the drive?
