Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Henry given all clear
    Wed 21 Dec, 4:56 PM

LONDON (AFP) - Thierry Henry has been given the all-clear to play for Arsenal during the busy Christmas and New Year period, the London Evening Standard reported.

France striker Henry had complained of slight soreness in his Achilles tendon following Sunday's 2-0 defeat against leaders and champions Chelsea at Highbury.

Henry underwent a scan and results received by Arsenal medical staff on Tuesday showed a slight inflammation around the tendon area.

But Wednesday's Standard said surgery was not required and the Arsenal captain, left out of the squad for Wednesday's League Cup quarter-final away to Doncaster, would be able to play through any discomfort starting with the December 26 Premier League match away to London rivals Charlton.

Well it's not up on Physioroom yet. They're pretty good about these things though.

Well he wasn't playing last night (against Doncaster), so there *must* be something wrong with him.
Van Persie limped off last night but I don't think that's too serious, given they haven't been scoring too many lately they can't afford any of these to be injured.

He is grand he was available to play last night but Arsene was hardly going to play him at Doncaster Rovers.

For the last few years I've wondered what Arsenal would be like withough Henry - glad he's not injured though :)
