if you've been to a really good art/ crafts class or course please post it up here and if you have any contact details etc and your opinion as to who might enjoy it.

there seems to be millions of threads asking about good courses so this will remain a sticky for the time being.

Dun-laoghaoire art college- art portfolio preparation course (runs during the summer) two weeks intensive course to show you whats need for the portfolio, quite a few teachers doing it. it's a good idea to do it in 5th class rather then 6th year in school to give you a good indication of what's needed to get into art college. as there is a number of teachers you may like/ not your teacher, but they all know what they're doing and are very organized, although expect to work hard and there's about 10people per class.

    CTI Portfolio Course, Waterford.

Ann O'Regan is one of the best tutors you'll ever find. Seriously. And Bernie, the ceramics teacher is fantastic aswell! It's a PLC, based on interview, just need to pass the ol' Lc really.
