Best stock charting tools

anyone know of a free stock charting tool/website that will show me a graph of a stock and then give me the exact date which the stock was at that value when i move the mouse over the graph at different points (does that make sense :) ) I used a website a few years ago that offered this but i have forgotten the address.

Try Yahoo Finance they allow you to set up a free portfolio overview with dates and values etc... It's what I use to keep track of my investments and it works a treat. You can customise the way it looks and have it as detailed or simplified as you want.
