Problems with AIB Online Banking after setting up Eircom Broadband?

    Hi,

    we recently upgraded from a dial-up to 2Meg Broadband from Eircom.

    However, while everything seems fine, our AIB online banking has slowed sown considerably, it seems faster with the dial-up for some reason.

    I'm just wondering if the WEP secuirty (the PC has a wireless connection) or the default firewall settings on the Router/Modem (Netopia) is causing some problem.

    Anyone experience similar problems?

    I use the AIB online banking on BT's Broadband Plus with no problems at all.

    Have you tried a different browser like Firefox?

    No, I don't think the browser is the problem, if fact AIB recommend IE only.

    Probably an MTU issue....download DR TCP and change your MTU to 1480 - reboot PC then try again....or you may be able to configure this on the router directly...?

    AIB personal banking works fine in every version of Firefox I ever saw.
