    Wha?

    Aha.

Basically, with all the electrical activity in our brain, they produce infra-sounds that are present, but our ears can't hear. The natural infra-sounds in some buildings that people say are haunted overwhelm our body as we are only ever used to small doses of it that don't affect (or disturb) us.

These infra-sounds occur under 20Hz (below the starting point of human hearing). It has been noted that infra-sounds of around 18-19Hz can affect the human eyeball and resonate it at that frequency (due to the eyeball having that natural resonating frequency). This can easily cause blurred vision that could distort what you are actually seeing, especially if you catch something out of the corner of your eye, you may perceive it as a strange anomoly, perhaps ghost-like.

vic tandy, god rest him, done a lot of research in that area. Barri Trower also has done research on wi fi and reckons that can also affect us both healthwise and mentally (and create 'paranormal' type brain reactions). I reckon radiation of various forms could end up being responisible for many paranormal related stories.

the only problem with infrasound is proper infrasonic mics are really expensive and kinda rules out that line of investigation.

That's just really turning a blind eye to things and will keep you searching until you find an answer, where you probably won't now.

With that said, finding conclusive evidence of such activity can ruin the "haunted charm" of a place so maybe it's best to not discover all truths.

on the contrary - thats the whole purpose of 'paranormal research'.
