didn't think it was painful at all.
But I wouldn't let something like that stop me getting something I wanted done anyway.

"Does it hurt" threads are banned.

  • Its getting really popular lately. I want to get it done but I know a lot of people think it looks gross and I'm not sure about it myself. I've heard you can hear a massive crunch as the needle goes through, that wouldn't be too pleasant, and its meant to be sore but I know 4-5 people who have it done and they're all quite pleased with it. I heard it can get infected easily so you have to look after it properly.

And obviously don't get it done with a gun for 5 euro in Georges St Arcade.

Tragus isn't that bad at all.
Had my Anti-tragus done last year and unfortunately was the first for the poor girl doing it... and she screwed it up!
6 months of pain only to have it grow out.

Getting a horzontal transpose through my right lobe soon though.

Edit: I didn't get any crucnh sound, more a "pop" sound.

dont worry about the pain its not bad at all , as far as i can remember theres a short sharp pain (not bad at all) at first, and then i might throb for a couple hours after kind of a dull pain but again totally managable. ive had mine done three times.

    Rule 3.
No more 'is it sore?' or 'where should I get pierced/tattooed?' threads.
Quote Etho--"I've closed 2 threads in as many days because frankly i'm getting very bored with all these silly questions."

Does it hurt? Yes, of course it hurts. Getting pierced with a sharp needle, or tattooed - where you have many sharp needled being jabbed into your skin - hurts, of course it hurts. But pain is a subjective thing. What is agony for one person, is another persons pleasure.

Where should I get pierced? Are you a sheep? Would you, for instance, post on boards asking what to have for dinner? You have your own mind, use it.

From now on, threads started asking these questions will be closed. Please don't take it personally, but the tattoos/piercings board is starting to get very repetitive.

    Thanks
