Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cant believe there is no thread for this.
    Celtic beating the Gers 3-0
    Mc Geady
    Balde
    Hartson.

It has to be said they are playing some lovely football, and there could be a thrashing on now.

Em, are Celtic not playing Livingstone @ 3pm today?

    Rangers are away to Dunfermline.

Watching a repeat by any chance?

I don't think they are allowed to have Old Firm games around this time of year anymore.

This thread reminds me of a time in my local when I was **** faced watching a liverpool game. Anyway, I turn around and see what I thought was a goal going in against liverpool and start hopping around slagging my liverpool fan mates and generally going nuts.

Turned out to be a replay of a goal scored an hour before, man did my drunk ass get slagged.

Oh the length some Celtic fans go to in order to support their club.

"Ye wake up in the morning turn on the tv, and see a Celtic Rangers match."

    Genius, absolute genius.

Please ring Setanta and complain, I hope they laugh at you as much as I did!

    Good game as well :D

On the real front, Celtic got a 2-1 win over Livingston with a late winner from Nakamura. Still 4 points ahead of Hearts with the New Years game looming. Rangers have become an irrelevance after their 3-3 draw yesterday (gving away a last minute peno :D ). They are now 17 points behind Celtic:)

Celtic should have had it won in the first half. Nakamura is truly world class, no doubt about it. He got man of the match in 3 of the 4 matches this month. I voted for him man of the match after 75 minutes and he would have got it whether he scored or not. He's my favourite Celtic player now and imo the most valuable player in the league. Some would say Petrov, some would even say Maloney considering his age but without Nakamura I don't think Celtic would be top of the league atm.

here's a short video put together by a Japanese lad of a few of Nakamura's touches yesterday. I said it before but compilations don't do Naka justice. He's involved in almost everything good that Celtic do.

I'd say he was planning 1/2/3 years at Celtic and then moving to Spain but judging by these pics and his comments about the club and fans he could be here for a lot longer:

Its a good thing I was recovering from a night of festive drinking, otherwise could have gone up to the local to watch the "game". That would have been a sorry sight especially if i threw my celtic top on, and demanded they show me the old firm game.
    Off to the funny farm.

Especially considering the pub would more than likely be closed, it being St. Stephens morning and all...

Every pub was open around here on Monday. :)

Well my grandparents own a pub and it wasn't. I don't think the Clonsilla Inn opened til well after 6 either.

Don't they usually open late(ish) on the 26th?

Right Lads, this is for the real match that is taking place tomorrow morning.
I'm gonna go with Celtic to win 3-1, as I can't see Rangers putting it up to them at all.

hahahahaha...ya big eejit!! Never saw this thread before...thanks for digging it out of the archives so I can have my turn to laugh at you :D

Celtic are pretty comfortable. Rangers not really making any impact, can't get the ball and when they do keane, lennon and petrov swallow them up!!

    Come on the bhoys!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,324 ✭✭✭✭A Dub in Glasgo

Celtic were happy to play the remaining 78minutes after Zurawski scored in 3rd gear. 13 ahead now and 21 ahead of Rangers.

Certainly. :) Nakamura will be back in on Sunday. Strachan picked the right team yesterday as Naka would have been bashed around the pitch or made anonymous like Buffel was. He had a bit of a bad patch in form mainly because he's so weak and players targetted him but he was very good against Falkirk on Wednesday. Lennon doesn't add anything close to what Naka adds to the team. He does his fair bit off working off the ball too despite what some people say.
