Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was thinking of getting a wrt54g (one that I can put linux on). Can anyone tell me if I can use it to connect wirelessly to another router out of the box? (ie. have PCs plugged into the ethernet ports, and connect downstairs to my wireless adsl router)

Has anyone played around with different firmwares on it?

Be very very careful not to get version 5 of this product, which seems to be everywhere.
I got it as a replacement for a blown out v2 and it is a nightmare. It doesn't support linux (they say it does, but it doesn't) and in a while a proper wrt54gl will be released which will be the proper linux one. The v5 is totally unstable, had to be reset as often as every 10minutes, even after several lots of firmware it doesn't work as it is some completely different innards to all the others. google for it including version 5 in the search and see what I mean.
In the end I replaced mine with the wrt54g with speed booster and it's rock solid.
