Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I used BT bb in Dublin and have it connected to a 3com wireless router and it connects in a few seconds with no problems. However, at home down in Wicklow I'm using the wireless modem supplied with eircom bb and it takes about 2 mins after detecting the wireless network for it to determine an ip and let me surf. Any one any ideas why there's such a delay?

    Thanks

    Tom

    er..wrong forum.

It's probably just the netopia router... Try setting a manual IP address, and remove the need for DHCP..

Could be something else interfering... Change the cahannel the router is using. I had problems with lidls wireless security camera. (thoug it wasn't connecting at all)
