If you use a 3V visa debit card on Ryanair.com do they charge you the €2.50 a leg charge or the €0.60 charge?

    Thanks

The 2.50, I'm pretty sure. It's got to do with the credit card rate they're being charged.

Makes the whole transaction pretty expensive ...

The 3V card is just a "Visa credit card" to the merchant, in this case ryanair. The merchant doesn't care or indeed ask whether it is what bank issued it, or what the arrangements are on your side about payment, whether you operate on a credit or debit basis with your bank, that is your concern only.
