    Its right. Some of the space is taken up by the pre loaded stuff and some space is reserved for the system stuff (game caches, live etc)

    apparantly most of the space is taken up by backwards compatibility stuff for old xbox games aswell.

    the games run on an emulator on the harddrive which takes up a bomb of space i was told.

    And you can always add your own USB hard drive if you want more space, yep they work.
    ... BUT no you cant just have a USB one instead of the Xbox one, well not yet anyway!

    Correct, if "most" now means "a small amount"... (approx 6.5GB out of 19GB addressable).
